The JBT Marel V-Cut 160 volumetric portion cutter is designed for small to medium-sized production volumes offering a variety of cuts into fixed weight portions of uniform shape. It is exceptionally well suited for businesses seeking to improve their operations with minimal adjustments to meet the evolving needs of their customers.

Versatile

Portion control slicing of boneless meat cuts from pork, beef, veal and poultry. From portions and butterflies to cubes and strips, the JBT Marel V-Cut 160 is versatile and readily performs a variety of cuts on fresh or tempered (crust-frozen) products. Quickly switch between portioning cuts by changing the portioning plate or template sets. The large assortment of cuts is perfect for processors needing to meet a variety of customer demands.

Flexible design

The symmetric design of the V-Cut 160 allows for convenient operation on either side of the unit. Available with an in-line portion take-away or 90-degrees positioned conveyor with an exit either to the right or left for maximum flexibility. Small footprint on wheels saves space and allows flexible installation, also in confined production areas.

Presentation

The V-Cut 160 can singulate portions for secondary processing, or shingled portions for direct tray packing. Product presentation is a straightforward process with the V-Cut 160.
